Atlas Honda Launches CG150 Motorcycle in Pakistan’s Growing 150cc Market

Atlas Honda, Pakistan’s leading motorcycle manufacturer, has officially launched the Honda CG150, a new 150cc model priced at Rs. 459,900. Designed to balance performance, fuel efficiency, and affordability, the CG150 expands the company’s portfolio in the increasingly competitive 150cc segment.

Details of New Atlas Honda CG150 Motorcycle

The motorcycle is powered by a 4-stroke, single-cylinder 150cc SOHC air-cooled engine, producing 11.9 PS at 7,500 rpm and 12.5 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. It features a 5-speed constant mesh transmission, and comes equipped with both electric (self-start) and kick-start options. With a 9.1:1 compression ratio, the CG150 offers efficient power delivery tailored to daily commuting needs.

In terms of dimensions, the CG150 measures 2,066 mm in length, 773 mm in width, and 1,069 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1,316 mm and 171 mm of ground clearance—making it suitable for both urban and semi-rugged terrains. The bike features 2.75-18 front tires and 90/90-18 rear tires, supported by telescopic front suspension (119 mm travel) and twin rear shock absorbers (91 mm travel) for added stability and comfort.

The fuel tank has an 11.4-liter capacity, including a 2.1-liter reserve, ensuring ample range for daily use. Design-wise, the CG150 combines retro styling—such as a round LED headlamp and chrome accents—with modern alloy wheels, appealing to both classic and contemporary riders.

On social media platform X (formerly Twitter), many users have praised the motorcycle’s upgraded engine, shared with the CB150F, which includes a balancer shaft to minimize vibrations for a smoother ride. However, some comments have raised concerns about the price tag, especially when compared to competitors like the Suzuki GS150.

The launch comes amid strong financial performance by Atlas Honda. The company reported a 31% increase in sales, reaching Rs. 62.3 billion for the quarter ending June 30, 2025. Gross profit also rose to Rs. 7.8 billion. With the introduction of the CG150, Atlas Honda is positioning itself to meet rising demand for reliable, mid-range motorcycles in Pakistan’s two-wheeler market.
