Dewan Farooque Motors Limited (DFML) has expanded its electric vehicle (EV) operations by starting the production of 300km-range models for Eco-Green Motors Limited. This move follows the earlier rollout of 200km-range vehicles and reflects a growing shift in Pakistan’s automotive industry toward cleaner, sustainable transport options.

Under a toll manufacturing agreement, DFML assembles the Dewan Farooque electric vehicle lineup at its local facility. The Honri-VE, a Chinese EV model, has seen more than 300 units produced and delivered, according to recent X updates. The company resumed EV operations in 2024, signaling renewed momentum in Pakistan’s green mobility landscape.

Industry experts see this expansion as a milestone for Pakistan’s local EV manufacturing capacity, which could improve consumer trust and reduce reliance on imports. As the global EV market continues to expand, the Dewan Farooque electric vehicle project places Pakistan on the map as a rising participant in the South Asian green tech space.
