A truck collided with a car at an intersection. Subsequent vehicles rammed into the wreckage due to low visibility. Several truck drivers sustained injuries. Rescue teams cleared the site. Multiple Vehicles Pile-Up Haryana Fog: Hisar and Rewari Crashes
In Hisar, a collision involving five vehicles on National Highway 52 near Dhiktana Mor occurred around 8 am. Two Haryana Roadways buses hit a dumper truck. A car and a motorcycle followed in the pile-up.
Over 100 bus passengers escaped major harm. A motorcycle rider suffered injuries and was taken to the hospital.
In Rewari, three to four buses collided on National Highway 352 due to poor visibility. Passengers reported minor injuries. Another incident on Rewari Road in Jhajjar saw a bus hit a stationary truck.
The bus carried about 50 passengers from Rajasthan’s Khatu Shyam to Bahadurgarh. The driver sustained serious injuries. Several passengers had minor wounds. Authorities referred the driver to the hospital.
Rohtak Rewari Fog Accident: Weather Context
The India Meteorological Department issued dense fog alerts for Haryana. Visibility dropped to 10 metres in places. Cold wave conditions persisted. Minimum temperatures hovered between 4°C and 6°C in most districts.
