Image Pakistan Limited has announced plans to acquire Elegantes London (Holdings) Ltd., a Harrods-listed luxury fragrance and wellness brand, as part of its strategy to diversify into the fragrance sector. Disclosed in a PSX filing on July 9 2025, the potential deal would proceed through Image’s UK subsidiary, Image International Ltd.

Elegantes operates in the UK and USA and targets the ultra-luxury market—valued at $10.2 billion globally in 2022 and projected to grow 9 percent annually. Image Pakistan, formerly Tri-Star Polyester, believes the acquisition will enhance its global footprint and tap new revenue streams.

Reactions on X range from excitement over a Pakistani brand’s international expansion to caution about risks in the competitive fragrance industry. SouthAsianDesk.com will report on milestones in the Image Pakistan fragrance acquisition and its significance for Pakistan’s presence in the luxury-goods sector.
