The attack, which occurred during Friday prayers, resulted in the deaths of 37 individuals and injuries to over 150 others.

Prime Minister Sharif detailed the compensation package, which includes Rs10 million for Shaheed Oun Abbas, who heroically confronted the attacker, Rs5 million for each person killed, Rs3 million for those severely injured, and Rs1 million for individuals with minor injuries. During his visit to the attack site, Sharif expressed profound grief and solidarity with the victims’ families, emphasizing the nation’s collective mourning.

Sharif condemned the attack as a barbaric act aimed at sowing discord, praising religious leaders and the public for their unity in response. He highlighted the sacrifices of security forces combating terrorism across Pakistan, particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, and affirmed the government’s commitment to eradicating terrorism.

Looking ahead, the Prime Minister urged continued vigilance and cooperation among all sectors of society to prevent future incidents. His visit concluded with prayers for the victims and a call for national unity against terrorism.
