The region has witnessed heightened conflict after US and Israeli airstrikes last month killed Iran’s Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other officials, leading to Iranian retaliations against US bases in the Gulf.
Saudi Arabia, while publicly advocating for peace, has expressed frustration and reserved the right to military action against Iran following missile attacks on Riyadh.
Iran has accused Israel of escalating the conflict by targeting its South Pars gas field, responding with threats to Gulf oil and gas infrastructures.
Pakistan, maintaining strategic ties with Saudi Arabia, calls for restraint and reiterates solidarity with the Islamic world, urging a diplomatic resolution to avoid further conflict.
