On the night of July 19–20, 2025, Pakistan’s security forces launched a precise intelligence-based operation in the Pahrod area of Pishin district, Balochistan, successfully eliminating four terrorists associated with Fitna-al-Hindustan — a group reportedly affiliated with banned separatist outfits like the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA).
The operation was triggered by movement reports of the militants in the area. During the raid, forces recovered weapons, ammunition, and a Fitna-al-Hindustan flag, indicating the group’s active presence. A clearance operation is still ongoing to ensure complete neutralization of threats in the region.
This crackdown follows a series of recent attacks linked to the group, including assaults on unarmed civilians and artists. The group is also believed to have carried out roadblocks and abductions in Loralai and Musakhel, according to previous security briefings.
On social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter), many users praised the swift response, calling it a key moment in curbing insurgent violence in Balochistan. Observers noted the use of ground and aerial assets, underscoring the seriousness with which this threat was handled.
Security officials emphasize that Fitna-al-Hindustan is believed to be foreign-backed, with the aim of destabilizing Pakistan’s southwestern region and disrupting major development projects such as the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
The operation reflects Pakistan’s ongoing commitment to counter-terrorism and the protection of local communities, reinforcing the military’s resolve to secure peace and push back against foreign-sponsored militancy.
