Pakistan’s cricketers Sahibzada Farhan and Shaheen Shah Afridi reached significant milestones during the T20 World Cup match against the United States on February 10, 2026. Farhan completed 1,000 T20I runs, while Afridi marked his 100th T20I appearance.

Farhan entered the game with 969 runs from 40 innings and reached his thousandth run by hitting a six off Milind Kumar in the fifth over. He became the 10th Pakistani batter to achieve this feat, joining prominent players like Babar Azam and Mohammad Hafeez.

Shaheen Afridi, who debuted in 2018 against the West Indies, became the seventh Pakistani to play 100 T20Is. His teammates celebrated his achievement, with Naseem Shah presenting him with a commemorative cap.

In his 99 completed matches, Afridi has taken 129 wickets at an average of 21.34, including two four-wicket hauls. He has also scored 307 runs at an average of 13.95. As Pakistan continues its World Cup campaign, these milestones reflect the team’s growing prowess.
