The discussion took place as the Bangladesh Ambassador extended an invitation to Vice-President Yadav for the 55th National Day of Bangladesh. The Vice-President accepted the invitation, signifying a gesture of goodwill and mutual respect between the two nations.

During their conversation, both parties emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations. Vice-President Yadav congratulated Bangladesh on its successful elections and expressed eagerness to collaborate with the new government.

Ambassador Rahman conveyed the readiness of Bangladesh’s new government to work closely with Nepal, which is also in the process of forming a new government. This mutual willingness to collaborate marks a significant step towards deeper regional cooperation.
