Pakistan frequently accuses Afghanistan of harboring militants responsible for attacks on its soil, a claim Kabul denies.
Historically, tensions escalated in February when Afghanistan’s Taliban government accused Pakistan of launching strikes in Kabul, causing civilian casualties. Pakistan justified these actions as targeting TTP hideouts, asserting an ‘open war’ with Afghanistan. The current talks aim to address these longstanding issues and foster regional stability.
