Noida International Airport Commercial Flights: Commercial operations at Noida Airport are set to commence in the next 45 to 60 days, according to Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu. The announcement was made on March 29, 2026, highlighting a significant development for the region’s aviation sector.

The minister stated that the commercial operations would begin once the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) issues the necessary Airport Security Program (ASP). This document outlines crucial security procedures and emergency plans required under Transportation Security Regulation 49 CFR 1542.

Shailendra Bhatia, the nodal officer for Noida Airport Limited, confirmed that the airport would initially operate one runway dedicated to domestic and cargo flights, with international services to follow at a later stage.

The ASP is vital for granting the Airport Entry Pass (AEP), mandatory for all stakeholders involved in the airport operations. Without this security clearance, commercial activities cannot commence.

As the airport prepares to become a major hub, the region anticipates enhanced connectivity and economic growth. The successful launch of operations will mark a new chapter in India’s aviation industry.
