Better wages, transparent contracts, safer workplaces and stronger monitoring would not weaken the industry. They would strengthen its credibility.

Football often sells itself as a sport of unity, passion and shared humanity. Sialkot’s workers are part of that story. Their contribution deserves more than passing recognition during World Cup seasons.
