The announcement was made to the Dhaka Stock Exchange, and the news has already positively impacted Runner Automobiles’ stock value, which rose by approximately 10% to Tk37.50 from Tk34.10.
BYD, known for its global reputation in electric vehicle manufacturing, began selling electric cars in Bangladesh in 2024. Since then, CG-Runner Bangladesh Limited has served as the distributor for BYD’s vehicles in the country.
