Special Judge Central Shahrukh Arjumand sentences PTI founder Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi to 17 years imprisonment each. The couple faced fines and charges of criminal breach of trust over luxury gifts.
The Toshakhana 2 case centres on a Bulgari jewellery set gifted by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in May 2021. Prosecutors alleged the couple undervalued and retained the items illegally.

Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi’s Toshakhana case involves 10 years of rigorous imprisonment under Section 409 of the Pakistan Penal Code for criminal breach of trust. An additional seven years is added under the provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
The court imposed a fine of PKR 16.4 million on each of them. Failure to pay will result in a six-month imprisonment.
This verdict follows 80 hearings conducted inside Adiala Jail. Prosecution presented 21 witnesses. Cross-examination completed for 18 key figures, including former military secretary Brigadier (retd) Muhammad Ahmad and private appraiser Sohaib Abbasi.
